ProtocolScout is an application which runs in your browser. It means that our servers generally do NOT need to know which wallets/addresses you might be querying. Therefore, our page/application does NOT “send” wallets/addresses to our servers when you inquiry on wallet balances, token supply or transactions. You can validate these statements using the standard browser inspector tool. The only exception is the Navigator page which “scans” which blockchains are used by the specific address. In this case we do send the address to our server but we do not store it after we complete the search.
We use Google Analytics v4 to understand application usage and user behavior. We do NOT record your IP address on our servers and we do not have access to such information via Google Analytics because it is not available for privacy reasons.
We do not serve blockchain data such as wallet balances or token supply. Instead, blockchain data is retrieved by your browser directly from the RPC providers listed on the Data Sources page. It means that our servers never need to know which wallets/addresses you might be querying. Therefore, our page/application does NOT “send” wallets/addresses to our servers. You can validate these statements using the standard browser inspector tool.
In summary:
- The wallets/addresses are not recorded on our servers;
- We do NOT associate wallets/addresses with your IP address and we don't even record the data which would be necessary for such analysis;
- You can validate these statements using your browser inspector to confirm your browser does not send wallets/addresses to our servers, except for the Navigator page.
